Delhi/India; Hannover/Germany – From 21 to 24 November, five fairs - Cemat India; MDA India; Surface India, Industrial Automation India and Laser India - will be held concurrently at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida/Delhi. Delhi, a major center for a number of industries, including the automotive sector, has attracted well-known automotive parts suppliers, such as Knorr Bremse and Goodyear Tyres. Other industries that are well represented in the area include the electronics and pharmaceutical industries, the leather goods industry and the mechanical engineering sector, Deutsche Messe states. With the new Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor, the region is expected to benefit from major infrastructure development projects.

"The state-of-the-art infrastructure of the new exhibition venue in Delhi meets the highest quality standards and enables us to stage a complementary series of conferences. Delhi itself, with its strong industrial base and local population of around 16.3 million, is the ideal location for our fairs and will guarantee large numbers of high-caliber trade visitors. It's no coincidence that many of the world's leading corporations, such as Samsung, Nestlé, Coca Cola and Pepsi, have chosen to establish their Indian headquarters in Delhi," commented Deutsche Messe Management Board member Dr. Andreas Gruchow.

Previously, Deutsche Messe has staged its Indian trade fairs in Mumbai and Bangalore. The trade fairs were accompanied by a program of conferences which the organiser regards as a huge success: "This positive response has prompted us to significantly expand our program of conferences and seminars over the years. The new venue in Delhi, which has state-of-the-art conference facilities, will allow us to continue on this path. It also has the capacity to cater for the new B2B Matchmaking platform we are planning," explained Gruchow. The fairs and accompanying program of conferences and events are co-organized by Deutsche Messe and Hannover Milano Fairs India.
