The distribution as well as billing of vapor are growing in importance, with the result that there is increasing demand for simple and safe solutions for recording energy flows. Endress+Hauser offer a complete flow measurement section for vapor, which combines proven and robust measurement technology with an optimized service offering in one comprehensive hassle-free package.

The services include the pre-installation, initialization and testing of all sensors in the measurement section in accordance with customer requirements. Using tried and tested components from the Prowirl (vortex flow), Cerabar (pressure) and Omnigrad (temperature) product lines, there are versions available for use with saturated vapor and overheated vapor.

Fully comprehensive documentation of the measuring point and a total error analysis, including all relevant defect rates for the measuring system under process conditions, offer a sound basis for verifiable vapor billing. In addition, optional services ensure high availability of the system throughout the entire life cycle. For example, there is the possibility of an accredited on-site post-calibration of the measurement section. This is unique and enables vapor measurement that is verifiable in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Following installation and electrical connection, the system is ready for operation and measures consumption extremely accurately, with values that are stable over time. This in turn reduces the cost of planning, commissioning and operating vapor measuring points.
