The CS Linear, as well as the twin-nozzle CD Linear, have been designed with the operator in mind, IMA states: All functions are visible and easily controlled while the external dimensions could be kept small and compact. The simple mechanical controls and the servo-driven filling nozzle were taken from the company's proven C1090–C1110 series, while the linear layout is widely inspired by the unit's larger sister-machine CD Linear.
