Clariant plans for the opening of a new masterbatch production site in the greater Sydney Area, Australia, by late 2014. The local production is expected to bring fully customizable and technically advanced color and additive masterbatches tailored to Australian customers, the company states.

Sydney/Australia – Speciality chemicals specialist Clariant announces plans to build its newest masterbatches plant in greater Sydney Area, Australia. The new plant will mainly serve the Australian market with a full range of color and additive masterbatches, technically innovative solutions and services to meet the growing local needs, Clariant explains. construction is already underway, with plans of commissioning in the fourth quarter 2014.
