Mumbai/India – The scope of the contracts includes design, manufacturing, factory testing, dispatch, erection, site testing, commissioning and related civil construction, at various locations in India. The products will be manufactured at CG’s Bhopal plant and the projects are expected to be completed within 31 months.

As India migrates to 765 kV as the national transmission backbone, CG plays the most vital role in building that grid. CG enjoys the highest market share in the UHV segment having developed the technology and manufactured the same indigenously. The products are both cost effective and optimally designed.

Commenting on this prestigious win, Avantha Group Company CG’s CEO & Managing Director, Laurent Demortier said, “I am very proud and thankful to PGCIL for continuing to repose trust in our products and technological expertise. UHV is a key segment for CG and CG remains committed to deliver high quality, cost effective products and services to fuel the economic growth of the country.”
