India – On Wednesday, an explosion occurred at a chemical factory in Gujarat, India which led to the outbreak of a massive fire. Eight workers were killed and around 40-45 workers were injured after the boiler at the agro-chemical company exploded in the afternoon, according to news reports.
Fire fighters were rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control and residents living in the nearby villages were evacuated. The Dahej chemical factory is owned by one of the leading chemical firms Yashashvi Rasayan which produces 15 plus chemicals for various industries.
