Singapore (fel) – Bayer Technology Services (BTS) has inaugurated a Southeast Asia regional office in Singapore, thus further expanding its presence in the rapidly growing Asian markets. This follows just a few months after the opening of a regional office in Mumbai/India. According to the company customers now benefit from a stronger Asian network. Offered services range from process development to the planning, construction and optimization of chemical and pharmaceutical production plants. This includes technology solutions such as microreaction technology as well as optimization methods and tools for improving energy efficiency or the supply chain. The new Southeast Asia office is headed by Dr. Olaf Stange, who has directed the business of BTS subsidiary Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS since 2004. He will be succeeded there by Dr. Joachim Heck. Achim Noack, Managing Director of BTS, added that additional branch offices are scheduled to open this year in Brazil and Russia.
