Solvent Extractants BASF Ramps up Production of Solvent Extractants in Ireland
BASF plans to invest in a production expansion for its LIX range of in Cork, Ireland. The new production capacities could gon stream in early 2015, the company stated.

Cork/Ireland – The LIX product range of Solvent Extractants is used for hydrometallurgical extraction of copper from oxide ores. BASF has a broad range of reagents and provides optimized solutions, particularly for mines experiencing difficult operating conditions.
