Cobrix 2600 is the new optical inline sensor in Anton Paar’s process instrumentation portfolio. It is a unique combination of optical CO2 and sugar (Brix) measurement in one sensor for real-time monitoring of soft drinks.


The clever combination of two measurements in one inline sensor results in ultimate ease of use. Based on the cutting-edge optical measuring principle ATR (attenuated total reflection) the determination of dissolved CO2 and dissolved sugar is possible in one go. Cobrix 2600 is a trendsetter with this unique combination and supports the overall trend in the process industry towards process analytical technology (PAT) for determining single parameters instead of sum parameters. Besides, it has a small footprint which makes a real inline installation possible, also in process lines with limited space, and thus helps to reduce investment and engineering costs.
