Track & Trace systems and Inspection machines: Antares Vision high technology at Achema 2015

23.09.2015

At the trade fair, Antares Vision showed two complete serialisation and aggregation lines and an inspection machine dedicated to dust and liquid control.

The Track & Trace systems and the inspection machines are the technological focus that guided the participation at last Achema (June 15-19, 2015 – Frankfurt am Main, Germany) of Antares Vision, the international leader of complete systems for pharmaceutical drug tracking. Installed at most major pharmaceutical multinationals, today the Italian company's technological solutions are used in more than 50 countries. At the trade fair, Antares Vision showed two complete serialisation and aggregation lines. In particular, it was possible to observe the Checkweigher serialisation module from the Print & Check series: a concentration of high technology software and hardware that does much more than print and verify the data required for tracking on three sides of the cartons, starting with the Datamatrix code, but also performs standard packaging functions, such as weighing and applying holograms and seals. Separate inspection video cameras ensure that labelling and closing operations are carried out correctly. Also for Aggregation - which together with serialisation, is a fundamental phase in the Track & Trace systems - Antares Vision offers a broad range of solutions, including the Matrix Station Top View model on show at Achema. The Italian company has also showed an inspection machine from the VRI (Visual Rotating Inspection) series, dedicated to dust and liquid control. The model on show at the trade fair is particularly suited for the inspection of lyophilised drugs. In fact, its sophisticated vision system efficiently inspects these products, which typically present considerable irregularities.
