811 Series ANSI centrifugal pumps from Griswold Pump Company are now available with Atex certification for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Atex-compliant models, which are designated by an “A” at the beginning of the model number, are also the only pumps in Griswold’s range to carry the CE mark for import into the EU. 811 Series ANSI pumps feature an open impeller design which minimizes concentrated wear; self-tightening impellers with external adjustment of clearance; back pump-out vanes to reduce pressure on the shaft seal and bearings; and ultra-smooth impellers for good hydraulic and mechanical balance and maximum seal and bearing life.
