Oslo/Norway – Aker Solutions signed a contract with British Endeavour Energy to supply subsea umbilicals and equipment for Endeavour's recent East Rochelle offshore project. Aker will supply one 30 kilometre infield control umbilical and one 650 metre riser umbilical that will provide all system functions for the Rochelle field in the central North Sea. Subsea umbilicals supply control and chemical feed for subsea oil and gas wellheads and other submarine installations. The contract value is approximately NOK 83 million (US $ 15 million).

"We are very pleased to sign our first contract with Endeavour Energy UK. This is an important award for Aker Solutions and confirms our strong position in the umbilical market globally", says Tove Røskaft, senior vice president of Aker Solutions' umbilical business.

Engineering and production of the umbilicals will be done by Aker facilities in Norway. Aker Solutions is confident to have deliveries finished within 2012.
