Packaging Milk Powder: A Difficult Task

Milk powder is a highly sensitive product – handling it is not easy. With milk powder blended with additives such as vitamins or proteins it is even harder. Concetti now presents an automatic solution for weighing, filling and packaging of calf and lamb milk powder.

The screw-fed NET/cTM net weigher offers a guaranteed capacity of 400 bags per hour for 25- and 50-libre bags, but works also well with 40 and 44-libre bags the company says. A sample extraction during filling can be done with sampling device fitted into the load hopper. For easy cleaning and maintenance, the screw is inclined and equipped with a flat top case, four inspection doors and hook-up devices.
