Atofina and the Paper Industry (Worldwide 1-2001/372) The new brochure from Atofina features the Company’s entire range of products for use throughout the paper production line. For pulp manufacturing, Atofina operates worldwide production facilities for three key products: hydrogen peroxide for bleaching, sodium hydroxyde (soda) to remove lignin, and sodium chlorate optimise bleaching conditions. They also offer specialty products in the wet process manufacturing as well as for the surface treatment of paper. As regards the treatment of water, Atofina offers products to remove sulphur or to eliminate COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). |
