China's Petrochemical Industry Met in Nanjing

To stay abreast of changes in China's petrochemical industry, PROCESS China and the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park invited industry insiders to the international Forum on Petroleum & Petrochemical Engineering. About 200 participants used the event for contacts and exchange within this booming sector.

Nanjing/PR China – Organised by PROCESS China and the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park, CNPC and CPEIA, the International Forum on Petroleum & Petrochemical Engineering (held in Nanjing on November 16th and 17th) attracted more than 200 industry experts and insiders.

Ms.Lucy Xiao, general manager of Vogel Media China, expressed her warm welcome and gratitude to the attendants during the opening ceremony. The event's main forum a saw an interesting analysis of the development of China’s petrochemical industry in the light of the country's “Twelfth Five-year Plan”. The two sub-sessions “Engineering & Maintenance” and “Information & Automation” were used for partnering and exchange by industry experts and technicians. Topics of equipment maintenance, project management, engineering optimisation and safety manage were discussed with great interest.

More than 200 experts, from international companies like Fluor, Uhde; Linde; Bayer Technology Servics, BASF and Lanxess, but also domestic players such as China Petrochemical Qilu Branch or the China Petrochemical Qingdao Safety Engineering Research Institute used the opportunity to make business contact and exchange ideas. A product display area was set with the forum to exhibit the latest product and technology applied in the petroleum and chemical industry.
