ISO
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwidefederation of national standards bodies from some 140 countries, one fromeach country.ISO is a non-governmental organization established in 1947. The mission ofISO is to promote the development of standardization and related activitiesin the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goodsand services, and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual,scientific, technological and economic activity.ISO's work results ininternational agreements which are published as International Standards.

SSCI
The Swiss Society of Chemical Industries (SSCI) was founded in 1882 inZurich, as the umbrella association of the chemical-pharmaceutical industrydealing with economic policy. Its objective is to promote and protect theinterests of the chemical industry, and it represents the industry to thepublic, government agencies and international organizations. At present, theSociety has some 220 member-companies.

CEFIC
The European Chemical Industry Council, is the forum and the voice of theEuropean chemical industry. It represents, directly or indirectly, about40,000 large, medium and small chemical companies in Europe, which employabout two million people and account for more than 30% of world chemicalsproduction. CEFIC is made up of the national chemical industry federationsof 25 countries in Europe and large international companies which aremembers in their own right.
