India's Confederation of the Indian Industry (CII) elects a new leadership circle: Arvind Goel of AUMA India and I. S. Malhotra of Tyco valves were recently chosen to head the association's valves and actuators division.
New Delhi/India – CII has a Valves and Actuator Division comprising industry CEO’S representing valves and actuators manufacturers and suppliers. The Valves and Actuators Division of CII is represented by the leading manufacturers of Industrials valves and actuators used in various sectors such as Power, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Water, Steel, Cement, etc.
CII organised an Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27th June 2012. Arvind Goel, Managing Director, Auma India and I. S. Malhotra, Managing Director, Tyco Valves and Controls India were elected as Chairman and Vice Chairman of CII Valves and Actuators Division respectively.
This division reviews the status of the industry and its concerns, which is then articulated and represented with a consensus to the various nodal agencies including the Government of India. This division also holds conferences, interactive sessions with various stakeholders including users segment and concerned Ministries. The division also leads business delegations to foreign countries.
