Emerson Acquires Level Measurement Specialists ISE Magtech

Emerson announces the acquisition of ISE Magtech, a provider of level measurement solutions. This acquisition allows the company to provide filling level solutions for liquids within the whole process industry value chain, insiders say.

Ferguson, Missouri/USA – ISE Magtech, a manufacturer of filling level measurement products and components for industrial applications, will now expand Emerson's level measurement portfolio, helping the company to expand its customer base. “The acquisition is a strategical expansion of our measurement solutions for the oil and gas industry, refineries or chemical production and power plants,” underlined Tom Moser, president of Emerson's Rosemount brand for instrumentation.

ISE Magtech is specialised in magnetic filling level sensor technologies, while Rosemount provides Guides Wave Radar (GWR) level measurement components. A combination of both technologies could, according to Emerson speakers, provide a robust and valuable expansion of the company's existing product portfolio.
