Oxea project on track

Oberhausen/Germany – Oxea, a supplier of oxo-chemicals and olefin derivatives, has adopted Picaso RemoteCast from WAM Systems to manage offline forecast analysis and demand plan updates. RemoteCast synchronizes supply chain data between the company’s SAP system and the sales reps’ laptops. This enables salespeople to work on their forecasts while disconnected from the corporate network, and then upload their forecast changes at their convenience. The RemoteCast project is part of a wider implementation of WAM’s Picaso system at Oxea’s Oberhausen site. The complete Picaso project, which includes production scheduling, raw material planning, distribution planning, and inventory targeting, is on schedule, within budget, and roughly half completed.
