Data preparation package

Process simulation packages such as ASPEN Plus or CHEMCAD are reliable tools for chemical engineers. However, the accuracy of process simulations depends strongly on the thermodynamic models used. Reliable property data and their appropriate conversion into model parameters are therefore the base for a trustworthy simulation. In practice often a gap exists between property data and the model driven simulation packages.

DECHEMA’s Data Preparation Package closes this gap. Thermophysical property data can easily loaded, displayed and compared. Parameters for pure components as well as binary models can be regressed and compared with the data. The generated parameters can finally exported ready to use in a process simulation package. Using such a data preparation one of most fundamental preconditions for a reliable simulation of complex processes is fulfilled.
