Powerful sensitive actuators
Good market prospects for actuators

Actuators must work hard with high sensitivity under extreme conditions. This forces manufacturers to walk a thin line between robust mechanical design and digital technology.
An actuator must be designed to meet a variety of requirements. For one thing, it must maintain precise regulating paths. The torque must be correct, and the rotational speed must remain constant. If it is used in the chemical industry, it must also work reliably even when exposed to vibration, pressure and aggressive media. The fact that more and more actuator functions are migrating into the field, as is the case with all field devices, does not make things any easier.
