Smooth powder transportation
Equipment for pneumatic conveying systems and bulk handling

The "TPA" transporters are designed to handle free-flowing, cohesive and/or dry granular materials. This new type in dense phase with a low air consumption is able to transport different products, usually never transported in natural way.

Established in 1994 the Italian company Air-Tec system has always dealt with the air transport with a valuable technological know-how in modern handling techniques of raw materials and other produts. Some references are St. Gobain in glass industry, Bridgestone in a large pneumatic plant, Villeroy & Boch in the ceramic industry, Kraft, Lavazza, Treibacher, Hascon Engineering, etc.
The new TPA transporters allows to transfer quantity of powder from 90 kg/h to 80.000 kg/h with the following advantages:
low speed, that means very low wearings and reduced consumptions of air
reduced and localized filtration systems
transferring powder products with high bulk density and different granulometries
Possibility of Distances from 6 mt. to more of 3000 meters inside a 2" to 8" pipe
To initiate the filling cycle, the transporter inlet valve and vent valve open, allowing material to fill the transporter and the vent air to escape for efficient filling. When the fill cycle is complete, both the inlet and vent valves close. Sensor verify inlet and outlet valve positions. The transporter is then pressurized using compressed air or an inert gas, forcing the material into the conveying line at a high density and high efficiency. When the conveying cycle is completed, the air pres-sure decreases and the air supply is automatically turned off. The transporter is then ready to begin another cycle.
