Exhibition space “sold out”

Bologna/Italy – Pharmintech 2004 promises to disappoint no one. The exhibition and conference, to be held June 8-11, 2004 in Bologna, Italy is completely “sold out” of available exhibition space.

All of the net surface area has been entirely allocated to stage an event that will encompass the technological innovations in the pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical fields at Pharmintech 2004. Dr. Guido Corbella, CEO Ipack-Ima, the organizer of Pharmintech 2004 said: “The fact that 270 companies have already claimed all the available exhibition space, a full four months before the event opens, is a testament to the crying need for such a specialized pharmaceutical event in Europe. The visitors will find two large halls, about 81,000 square feet, filled with pharmaceutical suppliers.” Pharmintech 2004 covers the full range of products and services for the pharmaceutical industry, from raw materials, and clean rooms, to processing and packaging, to engineering services.

For example, among the exhibitors there are 35 companies who manufacture APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). This special raw materials pavilion will be coordinated by CPA, the Chemical Pharmaceutical Generic Association. Commenting on his latest appointment as President of Pharmintech 2004, Federico Nazzari declared: “I am pleased to be President of the first edition of what promises to be an exhibition where many visitors from all over the world will be afforded a unique opportunity to see and become acquainted with all the latest innovations in the sector. The rich program of conferences and seminars
run by the most prestigious Italian and international
trade associations is especially noteworthy. Pharmintech 2004 is bound to be an important cultural forum for the pharmaceutical industry and a date not to be missed.” Pharmintech will be co-located with two other specialized
exhibitions: Pack-Mat 2004 and Safe Food 2004. By coexisting three events, which have several technologies in common, a powerful synergy is created, benefiting both exhibitors and visitors. Over 10,000 visitors from around the world are expected at the three events.
