Interphex in marketing deal with new Pharmintech

Milan/Italy and Norwalk, CT/USA – Two pharmaceutical exhibitions and conferences, one new and one well-established, have signed a contract to support one another’s marketing efforts. The three-year deal brings together Pharmintech of Italy and Interphex of the USA with the aim of increasing numbers of visitors and exhibitors at both events. The first Pharmintech event, organized by Ipack-Ima of Milan, takes place on 8–11 June 2004 in Bologna. Known as “packaging valley”, this area of Italy has a high concentration of pharmaceutical factories.

Pharmintech 2004 covers pharmaceutical manufacturing and related areas such as biotechnology, cosmetics and nutrition. Exhibition categories include raw materials, processing, packaging, logistics and marketing services. Interphex USA, organized by Reed Exhibitions, is now in its 25th year. The 2004 event, which took place in New York on 16–18 March, brought together more than 18,000 visitors and more than 950 exhibiting companies. Interphex encompasses four concurrent events covering manufacturing, outsourcing and services, information technology, and drug discovery and development. Interphex 2005 takes place in New York on 26–28 April 2005.
